Red Dragonlord

We've crafted a tuck case using the celebratory colors of red and gold.The dragon on the case is embossed and gilded, creating a three-dimensional effect.

Inside, the auspicious cloud pattern is created using hot stamping, resembling dragon scales and sparkling brightly!

Not only on the case but also on the back of the Dragon God cards, we've employed gold foil stamping. You'll notice the gold foil effect covering the entire body of the dragon.

Monkey King is a central character originating from the 16th-century Chinese novel "Journey to the West" (西游记), and he remains one of the most beloved and influential mythological figures in China.

In this novel, Sun Wukong, born from a stone, attains supernatural powers through Taoist practices. However, after a rebellion against the heavenly realms, he is imprisoned beneath a mountain by the Buddha. Five hundred years later, he embarks on a transformative journey with the monk Tang Sanzang (唐三藏), riding on the White Dragon Horse alongside two other disciples, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing. Their mission: to retrieve Buddhist sutras from the West, the realm of Buddha and his disciples in India. where Buddha and his followers dwell.

Monkey King represents the quintessential blend of wit and courage in East Asian culture.   His character has been reimagined in numerous forms across literature, drama, and film.

In this decks of cards , we pay homage to the iconic portrayal of Monkey King from these mythological origins.

Four ACES, each referring to the Monkey King's four stages:
Through Taoist practices, rebelling against heaven, the journey and the final ending.

The Court card, which shows the characters of the different sides of the story. There is powerful demon kings ，Buddha and his followers，Gods and all kinds of elves and monsters.

The Joker is Ruyi Jingu Bang , The poetic name of a magical staff wielded by the monkey King.  W.J.F. Jenner translates it as the "As-You-Will Gold-Banded Cudgel.

The inscription indicates that the staff follows the commands of its owner, shrinking or growing to his whim, make copies of itself, and that it is immensely heavy, weighing 17,550 lbs (7,960 kg).

When not in use, Monkey shrinks it down to the size of a needle and keeps it tucked behind his ear.

There are also many differences on the front side of the card. Merging traditional architecture and woodblock printing.

POP-OUT Tuck Case

The craftsmanship and design of these cards are laden with intricate details, in the center of each card tuck case is an elegant plaque,  bearing the inscription "Monkey king 悟空."

We used seal scripts to adorn the scriptures, a passage from the text: "In a mountain so high, there must be a path for travelers;  in waters so deep, there must be ferryboatmen."

The layering of designs already tells a rich story.  We want it to have the craftsmanship level of embossing.

You can see the elements like overhanging eaves, coiled dragons, scriptures, sacred relics, cloud patterns, and mythical beasts on the card box are accentuated by the embossing.  To do justice to the "Monkey King" theme, we collaborated with the top design team in China, ARK.

The tuck case is more than just a container;   it serves as a gateway to a realm of enchantment.   With the innovative POP OUT feature, when the box is opened, it reveals the Monkey King's legendary transformations.

Translating all this inspiration onto playing cards has been a tribute to the tale and an acknowledgment of its historical and cultural significance.

Holo Foil

The Monkey King, as well as all the cards in the Boxset, feature what players call "HOLO." By using advanced gold foil material that interacts with light, it not only maintains its metallic luster but also adds a colorful effect, significantly enhancing the overall luxury.

In addition to the Monkey King, there are a total of four main characters from the "Journey to the West." Based on this, we've modified the design of the ACE cards, tuck case, and card backs to represent the entire main character group. With "Room & Space" as the theme, I pondered for a long time on how to represent "room" concretely. Eventually, I decided to use "doors" as a tangible object. A surface with a door becomes a room.

As the debut project in this series, "doors" signify the initial notion of "entering everything." I chose red, reflecting the color of my first deck. Inspiration largely came from motels and key cards frequently seen in road movies.

Moving away from the traditional functional geometry of "flourishing cards" or the standardized design direction of so-called "flourishing card faces," I present these cards in a more sensorial and artistic manner. It’s artistic yet delves into the history of cards. These are fun cards for those who enjoy the culture of cards, and I avoid imposing any strict definition. They're suitable for playing, magic, flourishing, or simply admiring.

As the debut of Smooth Writing, the cards are manufactured by TCC in China. 

The embossed tuck case with deluxe specialty paper and gold foil on the inside make the tuck case exceptionally textured. From the invention of the steam engine in the 18th century to the rapid development of electronic information technology today, each industrial revolution has brought about revolutionary changes in people's lives.  Nowadays, our lives are inseparable from microchips, and this deck of cards draws its inspiration from them.

UV color-changing ink is applied to every detail of this deck.  As light shines upon them, hidden circuits start to reveal themselves.  With this, we aim to simulate the process of information transmission and processing, and we named it after the production equipment that empowers chips with endless possibilities—the photolithography machine.

To achieve this, we went through numerous trials and ultimately selected a highly sensitive professional UV color-changing ink.  This allows the cards to display the best effects even under the sunlight outdoors, without the need for additional UV lights.  Holding them feels like holding a chip covered in electronic components, exuding a strong sense of technology.  These "electronic components" are crafted with silver foil, presenting a realistic metallic luster.

The cards also embody the changes under illumination.  With clean and sharp lines, they underwent a redesign inspired by circuitry style.  Not only the circuitry pattern on the card backs, but also all the hearts and diamonds flourish with the support of UV color-changing ink.

The front of the grating box uses a large area of grating technology, creating a stunning three-dimensional transformation effect. The grating box comes with a unique custom seal on the side and comes with two card designs: a framed version and a puzzle version. Innovative Rotating Structure Of Card Case. It is a fascinating card case, and not just good-looking. The new structure is applied to the card case, which is composed of two-layer paper in red and black, as well as a rotating shaft. A full deck of cards can be accommodate in the card case(the original card case is not included). 

The rotating structure, initiated by Wolfram, has been applied for the patent right for the utility model and the design. It is believed that such a card case would provide consumers with completely different experience.

The Karnival series, created by designer British Sam Hayles, has long been known as one of the most popular and representative Bicycle limited edition custom decks. Including voodoo playing cards, Bicycle knights playing cards, it is an essential collector items for playing card collectors.

It’s a great honor to cooperate with Sam Hayles to bring a new deck for you. We cooperated with him to create the Dead Soul project, which continues the design of the Karnival series style, popular with cardist, magicians, and playing card collectors. More than 20000 decks have been sold.

After careful planning for two years, we are still in the style of the Karnival series to create the latest works full of dark style! A total of three decks and three coins are sold in a wooden collector’s box.

Dead Soul

Dead Soul is the most popular style of the Karnival series in recent years, presented to you again.Compared to the mysterious and solemn first edition, the new Dead Soul uses elegant white as the main color. In the design of the deck, TCC and Sam spent a lot of time and effort.

The design of the tuck case is a skull with that full gothic pattern, The theme of the deck is around the skull, revealing mystical, horror, and elegance. On the reverse side is the same vine patterns as on the back of the card.

All card faces were redesigned, and the extra smoke rendering adds many details to card faces. Skull, spine, ribs, and carpal bones…each card faces are skeleton images. You can use these to put together a complete skeleton.

Dragonlord

A Bicycle playing card designed with a dragon theme, also printed by USPCC.

Dragon has a completely different impression in the legend of west and east, the dragon that appears on the front of the tuck case has the horns of a demon, just like fallen angels, full of evil and power, Watching over the moving treasures. The decorated pattern of background uses the unique clouding in East Asia, indicating the dragon comes from a mysterious country.

The card backs showcase two awing dragons and black background without white edges.The Ace and Joker also feature the image of a dragon.

The design of Dragonlord was also applied to the coin collection, where dragons were made into raised reliefs. Each dragon scale is clearly visible on the coin.

Lost Spirit

The design theme of the deck is a silver gray spade, Ace.The front of the tuck box is an elegant and dark spade with intricate classical, delicate floral patterns. The tips of the spade have a pair of eyes from Lost Spirit.

On the back of the card, the overlay of several layers of texture further enhances its already strong sense of solemnity, creating a mysterious and noble sense.The card faces retain the design of the conventional deck. Spade, clubs, hearts, and diamonds both use conventional suits, and the card faces are covered with a gray and white texture, adding a dark, strange atmosphere. The subtle treatment of the face design also adds to the aura of the Lost Spirit and brings many variations and infinite possibilities.Two jokers are Death who wears a black cloak and stares out of the frame.

 The box set included all three custom decks, three coins,  and a collection certificate, stored in a wooden collection box. The wooden box set is limited to 1000 sets, and we also made a metal nameplate for the gift box with a laser engraved number (same as the certificate in the box), each wooden box is unique.
