Sanshusha is a printing company with over 100 years of history, deeply rooted in Japan’s literary legacy.
It was the press behind Shirakaba, a magazine that played a vital role in modern Japanese literature, and a place frequently visited by writers such as Saneatsu Mushanokoji, Naoya Shiga, and Takeo Arishima for manuscript proofreading.
Beyond Shirakaba, influential literary publications such as Subaru, Myojo, and Seito were also printed by Sanshusha—making it a long-standing pillar supporting Japan’s literary culture.
This Blue edition transforms that heritage into a visual language.
The tuck case features a fusion of the Sanshusha logo and classic club mark, while the card faces incorporate illustrations from Sanshusha’s original 1928 cut collection—details that could only emerge from a century-old printing house.
As with the Black edition, proofreading symbols are woven into the design, echoing the beauty of typesetting and editorial precision.

Born from Sanshusha, a printing house with over a century of history and deep ties to Japanese literary culture.
From Shirakaba to Subaru, its presses once carried the words of renowned writers, leaving behind a legacy where literature and craftsmanship intertwine.
This black edition transforms that heritage into design—proofreading marks, typesetting symbols, and intentional “errors” are woven across the card faces.
Misaligned suits, altered numbers, and subtly changed court cards echo the beauty of the printing process itself, making this deck a fascinating tribute to the art of print.

It continues the collection’s elegant character, centered around a low-saturation Morandi pink palette that weaves restraint, softness, and delicacy into every design detail. Like a rose veiled in morning mist, it feels quiet yet deeply emotional, drawing you instantly into its uniquely romantic atmosphere.
Beneath its gentle pink tones lies a warmth and memory all its own.
It carries forward the collection’s signature elegance, built around a low-saturation Morandi blue palette that blends restraint, tranquility, and delicacy into every design detail. Like misty blue clouds stretching across the twilight sky, it feels quiet and profound, yet filled with emotions that invite deeper reflection, immersing you instantly in its uniquely serene romance.
Beneath its soft and composed blue tones lies the collection’s distinctive sense of time and memory.
It is centered around a snow-rock-inspired palette of cold, crystalline purity, where restraint, sharpness, and delicacy are woven into every design detail. Like the faint, cool sheen reflected from snow-covered cliffs in the morning light, it feels still and pure, yet carries an unmistakable sense of strength that draws you instantly into its uniquely frosted allure.
Beneath its ice-clear visual layers lies the collection’s distinctive sense of time, sediment, and memory.
It embraces a more energetic fluorescent palette as a new expression, weaving sensibility, fluidity, and spirituality into every design detail.
Under ultraviolet light, a faint glow slowly emerges in the darkness—unassuming, yet powerful enough to awaken perception and allow emotions to flow freely between light and shadow.
Beneath its luminous, pulsating visual language lies “Soul,” pointing toward inner consciousness and emotional resonance.
When the light is released, emotions are revealed as well.
There are no immortal souls in this world—only the unbreakable complexity of the human heart. Since ancient times, fox spirits have been associated with deep emotion, offering their full spectrum of joy, anger, sorrow, and desire. Within love that can never be fulfilled, they embody the timeless entanglement of affection and heartbreak, weaving stories of human nature that echo through the ages.
In the solitude of deep mountains, far removed from the human world, an isolated realm emerges. Mist drifts across the valleys, red plum blossoms seem to gesture in silence, and desire spreads in stillness, quietly intoxicating those who linger. One may wish to move forward with a lantern in hand, yet the night is too deep—so deep that even enlightenment struggles to reach the human eye.
Along the card spine, traditional motifs fade and flow into one another, forming an endless narrative landscape. Every detail feels like a fragment of an untold legend—distinct yet interconnected—together composing a fantastical tale of emotion, desire, and the ever-turning cycle of fate.
The tuck uses a minimalist visual language to tell an ancient, distant story. Lantern light fades into the night, wildfires and phosphorescence dissolve in the wind, and a cold hue lingers over red blossoms—both tender and unforgiving.
A dreamlike encounter of scholar and beauty reflects the complexity of human emotion. Inspired by Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, it suggests that what truly deserves attention is not the supernatural, but the human heart itself.
The card back depicts an ancient mountain forest, evoking a quiet yet mysterious Eastern folklore world. Spirits, demons, and illusions intertwine, yet traces of genuine emotion remain.
The card faces feature a restrained classical palette, balancing traditional aesthetics with modern design sensibility.
Perseus is a prominent northern constellation. Around midnight on November 7, its center culminates at the upper meridian. Observers north of 31° south latitude can see the full constellation. On autumn nights, it is easily recognized in the northern sky by several 2nd–3rd magnitude stars forming a curved arc or a “human” shape.
On the tuck, planetary paths weave together into the coordinates of Perseus. Against the vast cosmic backdrop, the constellation blooms in a quiet wilderness like a lighthouse guiding lost travelers. Across the boundless stars, it gathers across billions of light-years, answering a vow of protection and revelation—carrying not only the wisdom of the universe, but also the trajectories of our own lives.
The Sun is the foundation of all growth, a living card within the galaxy, and a symbol of soul and subconscious. On the card back, it burns brilliantly like an unfolding nebula—the heart of the cosmos—radiating endless energy into the stars. Whether at sunrise or amid shifting constellations, it remains a steady light of guidance and grace.
