Face cards feature mysterious creatures from the Classic of Mountains and Seas, with asymmetrical top-to-bottom designs. Under the purple light, the mech-inspired elements stand out even more.

The card backgrounds subtly incorporate the sixty-four hexagrams of the I Ching, while each deity’s unique artifact is reimagined with cyberpunk elements, creating a refreshingly novel experience.

The pips are cleverly depicted through gradations of light and shadow, gradually illuminating from low to high values, creating a progressive visual rhythm.

The tuck features a classic combination of brown and yellow, giving it an elegant and substantial presence.

Card back is also composed of circular elements, resembling layers of ginkgo leaves. Neenah the duck walks along a path covered with these leaves.

The yellow area behind Neenah evokes a slowly setting sun, casting its warm glow over the ginkgo-lined path.

Four Aces are formed entirely from circular compositions, showcasing Neenah’s design philosophy. Other number cards also use simple circular segments to represent the distinct forms of the four suits.

The face cards maintain a minimalist style, revealing only partial figures to create a sense of subtle mystery, like a glimpse half-hidden behind a veil.

A deck of hand-drawn art playing cards that explore space through the eyes of medieval astronomy. Printed by KingStar, the whimsically illustrated cards interact and cosmos explodes with invisible ink.

Follow the medieval England/European inspired Coney rabbits. A young wistful scribe, trying to distract his strict cleric, questions their scripture and what the heavenly cosmos truly is.

First funded on Kickstarter, this project was an experimental venture created with Jack Brutus Penny’s Patreon community. Believing strongly in collaboration and the journey of creation, invisible UV ink depicts child-like visions of life in the stars as drawn by Jack’s son Arthur and the children of his Patreon members.
